And Ownership Disclosure
We currently hold only three positions. Of the three positions one, Crew Energy, is quite profitable and has been a superb performer recently. Gran Tierra is in a nice profit position now and the last one Surge Energy, while recovering is still in a modest loss position. We expect to add to all three positions on the next low risk BUY signal as well as add many additional ideas.
With the sharp run up in the energy sector of the last few weeks, this parabolic move seems to be another blow-off and we know how parabolic moves end after they roll over.
For now we will watch for the start of decline in the sector and wait for the next S&P Energy Bullish Percent BUY signal to be triggered. When it is triggered we will add back some of the ideas harvested and also add new ideas from the new coverage area of pipelines & infrastructure. We are sitting with cash and defensive positions until it is time to move the funds back into the best ideas when the next low risk BUY signal arrives.

REMINDER: We are long-term value investors and our intent is on helping individual investors create the best possible energy portfolios now while conditions are volatile. We recommend taking advantage of stocks when they are at low risk entry points and are tremendous bargains that should provide great returns if investors own them for the next five years.
We do not recommend short-term trading due to the unpredictability and volatility of the market. However, when we see key BUY or SELL signals from the S&P Energy Bullish Percent Index we will and have recommended investing or harvesting, depending upon the Index level. The four 2021 SELL signals in 2021 and the three SELL signals in 2022 (one more last week) provide great windows to harvest significant gains and move to the sidelines.
If one is still over-invested take action as the decline we expect to occur without fanfare in our sector will be very painful.
