I’m often asked why some investors are able to see opportunity in uncertain markets while others only see risk. The answer usually comes down to understanding cycles, staying disciplined, and recognizing when the landscape is shifting beneath the surface.

When I joined this conversation back in July 2023, we discussed market cycles and the importance of discipline. Since then, a great deal has changed, from currencies and energy markets to Canada’s access to global buyers.
